Pubs/bars due to open 'soon':
Dollys, Terenure - replacing S0248 Vaughns Eagle House which closed mid-June. Expected to open November.
Díon, Dame Street - NolaClan operated rooftop bar in the old Central Bank building - announced opening date of November 21st has been missed and social media claims Early December.
Token - announced a reopening in December on Mayor Street Lower; I am assuming this is the former N2390 Lagoona. This may or may not be the end of any future pub in the Queen Street site.
S0301 Goggins, Monkstown - this pub closed a while back (shortly after my recorded visit, I believe); to reopen early 2026 according to their reactivated social media.
Libertine Lounge, Clanbrassil Street - former S1434 57 The Headline, South Circular Road/Clanbrassil Street refitted to a guesthouse with bar
N0080 Quinns, Drumcondra - renovation works underway, opening expected in coming months
S1147 Drop Dead Twice - gutted by fire in 2022, work began March 2024 on a rebuild. Reopened for a Pride pop-up on June 28th, then closed again until works are completed.
Eclective Group, South William Street - reopening/rebrand of Farrier & Draper expected to reopen winter 2025/26
Love Tempo, Thomas Street - damaged by fire, expected to reopen in 2026
Burton Tavern / Burton Hotel, Duke Street - fully fitted out for about a year but not open yet, and with limited social media presence. Reported to be having paperwork issues. Was open (but not charging for drinks) on Bloomsday, claimed opening within weeks at the time but has had continual planning problems.

The Liffey Saint, Ushers Quay - replacing S1472 Pilsner Pub / Pifko, operated by the former operators of The Clock - opened January
1021935 Lane7 bowling bar, Dundrum Town Centre - opened January 31st
Flight Club, a darts-themed bar in the former S3727 Sams Bar, Dawson Street - February 7th
Jackies, Aungier Street - moving from their Francis Street location in to what was Darwins Bar on Aungier Street. This appears to be on the licence from 1009700 The Snug on Stephen Street which joins the rear of this premises. Opened March 20th.
The Sackville, Sackville Place - Second branch of 1661, in the short lived "Biddy Mulligans" and former N1099 Sackville Lounge. Opened April 3rd.
N1124 Tom Taveys, Emmet Road - the most recent operators of Clearys in Inchicore moving in to what was most recently The Devils Cut and reverting to its old name. Opened April 4th.
The Brooklyn, Swords - renovation and rebrand of the former N2211 Wrights Cafe Bar. Opened April.
Lane7 bowling bar, Chatham Street - Opened April 11th
Egans, Aungier Street - rebrand of 1010802 Bow Lane Social Club. Opened mid April
1010656 The Green Phone Box - formerly Peggys On The Green, which was sporadically open around Christmas 2024. Opened May 1st.
Anna Liffey, Millennium Walkway - replacing N2670 Koh, appears to have opened late May
Mercantile Hotel & Bar, Dame Street - reopened end of May after extensive refit and extension
Mulligan & Haines, Dame Street - quietly reopened early June, having closed during financial issues with its previous owner
1022267 Priory Market, Tallaght Village - a food market and taproom for Priory Brewing, may have Producers On licence but more likely full pub based on opening hours. Opened 25th June.
CitizenM Hotel, Bride Street - opened July
Point A Hotel, St Augustine Street - opened early August. Hotel has confirmed (in person) that the bar is residents only
1008060 Fitzers Bistro & Bar, Exchequer Street - replacement for the Green Hen, opened quietly in early August
S0259 The Willows, Dundrum - reopened after a year or so closure on the August Bank Holiday weekend.
N1939 Plunkets, Middle Abbey Street - formerly W Plunket (and many other names), reopened August 8th after renovation
Bucks, Dun Laoghaire - mild rebrand of the recently closed S0269 Buck Mulligans. Opened September 13th.
D One Five - restaurant/bar in what was 1019163 Twin Oaks in Castleknock. Opened September 16th.
1022516 Moxy Dublin Docklands, East Wall Road - opened September 30th.
N0869 Donaghmede Inn - reopened October 2nd
Chillers On The Green, Stephens Green - the former S2738 TGI Fridays unit, this is a second outlet for Chillers Lounge in Liffey Valley (which is in part of what was N2365 Arc). Opened early October.
Bill Ahernes, Aston Quay - rapid rebrand and reopening of S0065 Fitzgeralds. Opened October.
S0212 McCloskeys, Donnybrook - reopened November 6th.
MJ Wrights, Georges Street - former Rustic Stone restaurant converted to a pub. Opened November 12th.
Ivy Asia, Dawson Street - this opened in November and I strongly suspect it has a full pub licence like its sister pub.
The Globe, RiRa and The Library Bar, Hoxton Hotel (former Central Hotel) Georges Street - reopened November 20th. There were separate licences here in the past, this may continue as two or merge to one.
Daphni - Animal Collective bar in Bolands Mills opened November 25th
Longer term pipeline:
Bounce, Dame Street - a ping-pong themed bar, in the old Central Bank building. No recent news
CHQ, Mayor Street - conversion of shopping centre elements in to a food market, pub licence from the closed Ely CHQ appears to have been reassigned to this now
Smithfield brewpub - Brewpub at the south western end of Smithfield Square, permission applied for in October 2025
Clontarf Baths - meant to be reopening after takeover by Nolaclan. No recent news.
Hill 16, Middle Gardiner Street - relicenced in January 2025, refit works underway
S1593 Cuckoos Nest, Greenhills Road - has a website and social media, photos of significant rebuild work underway
S0184 Leeson Lounge - closed in 2019 and used as a specialist off licence in the interim, works are underway for a refit of a new pub interior and kitchens. Ownership appears to be connected to the Brazen Head / Attestor Capital pub chain.

Maldron Hotel, Croke Park
New tourist hostel with bar, Hanover Street - under construction. All hostel bars in Dublin are full pubs currently.
New tourist hostel with bar, Chancery Street - on site of what was Fegans wholesalers, latterly cafe and was once upon a time a pub.
Longer term / possibly stalled
The Dean Swift, Francis Street - replacing the first location of Jackies, in a pub which was originally called The Dean Swift and which I visited when it was S1449 The Jug. Claimed to be opening "soon" as of early April 2025, but the premises was listed for sale in August 2025.
Rezz Hotel, Rathmines - was due early 2024, hiring bar staff, but has been block booked
Eclective - Clerys bar in former Clerys development - possibly not happening due to the Press Up -> Eclective change
Press Up/eclective - former S4389 Buck Whaleys / Stone Leaf - likely dead, building listed for sale again
Murray Group - renovation/reopening of former N0077 Out On The Liffey / Fibbers Rock Bar (this is not the main Fibbers)
S0214 Arbour House, Windy Arbour - listed for sale and relicenced in recent years
Old St Andrews Church Food Market - two operators (Wrights, Manifesto/Martin Barry) have pulled out of here, so this is looking less and less likely.
Former 1013114 Token, Queen Street - this was to become a branch of Bambino but this is confirmed as now not happening.
