As we finish off the 2023 season of extremely strong pub opening/reopening/rebranding activity, it's time for a new page. This will be edited constantly throughout 2024.
Pubs/bars due to open 'soon':
N1099 Biddy Mulligans, Sackville Place - former Sackville Lounge, potential April 2024 reopening.
S1593 Cuckoos Nest, Greenhills Road - has a website and social media, claimed Autumn 2024 reopening.
Ruby Molly Hotel, Arran Street East - this is beside the Hacienda. Due to open May and advertising heavily
Caribou, Stephen Street - Kodiak/Bonobo group replacing S3221 PMacs - reusing the name of the same groups closed venue in Galway
"Soho Dublin" nightclub, D'Olier Street / Hawkins Street - replacing Tramline
Quinns, Drumcondra - minor works ongoing, crowdfunding (!) attempt to reopen it in 2024.
Handels Hotel - the bar here (formerly S3234 Oscars Cafe Bar) has been closed for years, but will reopen as Messiah. Has seemed to be ready for some time, branding up outside etc, but not yet open. Hotel is trading.

Bus Bar, Skerries - undergoing rebuilding after a fire currently

The Morris, 15 Talbot Street - opened in January
The Glasshouse, Point Village - opened in January
Wellington Hotel / O'Riordan's Bar, Wellington Quay - opened March
Table 45, Hogan Place - replacement for S0145 Square Ball opened March
Turks Head, Parliament Street - reopened March after four year pandemic related closure
Chancery Hotel, Ship Street - opened March
Black Banks Bar & Grill - replacing N1352 The Foxhound, Raheny, opened March
Leinster Hotel replacing the former S0149 Howl At The Moon, opened March
Strand House, Fairview - replacement for N0135 Brú House, opened March
(Peggys on the Green, SSG North - rebrand of Three Storey over the course of a few days in April - not really a new or reopened pub)
N0869 Donaghmede Inn - a very early Lockdown casualty. Was hiring for a March 2023 reopening, has yet to reopen.
Rezz Hotel, Rathmines - due early 2024 but has apparently been block booked
Old St Andrews Church Food Market - this is now going to be opened by the Martin Barry Group, Wrights having pulled out.
Brewdog #2 - Charlemont Square - was expected Autumn 2022, but has some planning permission issues and could lag significantly - likely dead
Press Up - former S4389 Buck Whaleys / Stone Leaf
Press Up - former S0252 Lamb Doyles - this is now listed for sale as a development site
Premier Inn - Clery Hotel to the rear of the Clerys redevelopment
Premier Inn - Ushers Quay
Murray Group - renovation/reopening of former N0077 Out On The Liffey / Fibbers Rock Bar (this is not the main Fibbers)
Unknown operator - proposed underground bowling alley and bar on Chatham Street
N2205 Ambassador Theatre - planning in for some works here to reopen, has been closed for some time now
S0214 Arbour House, Windy Arbour - relicenced recently
1003456 The Shipwright, Ringsend - relicenced recently - may be to sell off the licence
