S4607 Mulligan & Haines

This recently opened pub replaces Sweeneys (the hotel on the upper floors is still called that) which had been here since the mid 2000s. The new setup is a vaguely Joyce-themed pub, the building being on the site of the Dublin Bread Company visited in Ulysses. It isn't a Joycean tourist trap, however.

The end result of a few months of a refurb is a fairly decent city centre pub with an acceptably priced food menu and range of drinks
